“The purpose behind this artwork is to display the significance of the Island School uniform in a way which is drawn through the elegant posture and gestures of the girl. The distinctive red and blue IS logo worn on the right side of her shirt is what distinguish students as Islanders who are all connected as one in the Island School community.” – Hanna Shih
